JWJ is a small denim brand based on the island of Mallorca (Balearic Islands, Spain). Founded by José Luis Vives (Palma, 1978) and his uncle José (“Pepin”) Vives (Palma, 1948), JWJ Brand was born from the blending of their two sets of initials JV VJ.
We decided to turn our passion into a profession. Always inspired by our roots we design our clothes looking back, researching the past but with a nod to the present.
Our creations are inspired by the roots of workers’ denim garments. All our designs explore original sources, but the way we see things has changed since Mr. Strauss began. The history of denim comes across the Mediterranean Sea and Europe. We carry denim in our genes. Our clothes spring from a passion that we would like to share with you.
